In late spring to early summer white bell flowers dangle from the leaf axils beneath the arching stems, which are excellent for cutting. Blue-black berries follow the flowers. Its charming flowers, arching stems and lush foliage make Solomon's Seal a favorite in shade gardens and woodland settings where it combines well with ferns, hosta lilies and other shade loving plants of all kinds. Very easy to grow, long-lived and virtually carefree. Landscape & Garden Uses Growing 2 to 3 feet tall and equally as wide, Variegated Solomons Seal is ideal for use as an accent or in groupings in shady landscape and perennial borders.
