Its smaller size lends well to growing as a large shrub or lower branches can be removed to form a very attractive small tree. The fragrant blue-green leaves are very "skinny" on this one, hence the name, and provide a unique, soft texture all its own in the landscape. What's more, the smooth bark with silver to cream furrows peels off a cinnamon color to reveal white underbark. Excellent for the landscape or in pots, planters and other containers. Cold Hardiness In McDonough, GA (zone 8A) 10 month old Eucalyptus trees, in pots and in ground, had no stress signs after a winter where temps reached in the low 20’s.
