As with other Rhododenron indicum varieties, Northlake Beauty sports large, arrow-shaped, rich green leaves that are attractive year round on a large mounding shrub to 8 feet high and wide if left to grow naturally with no pruning but has demonstrated greater cold tolerance to USDA Zone 6. Excellent as a specimen, in groupings or as a natural hedge in sunny to partially shaded landscape and woodland borders.
