Maureen features very attractive, soft-textured foliage with slender, dusty blue-green new leaves that age to a darker shade. Growing Preferences Maureen Yew is easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil and shade to part shade. Morning and evening sun are okay but shade or filtered sun in the mid afternoon hours is appreciated. Taxus yews do not like a poorly drained constantly soggy or wet soil.
