Forming a very natural and lush looking upright mound 3 to 4 feet tall and equally as wide, the plant is clothed in handsome dark to medium green bamboo-like leaves arranged like leaflets on fern-like fronds. We love Mahonia in shady to partially shaded landscape borders, home foundation plantings and around patios and other outdoor sitting and living spaces. You might be happy to know that deer turn their nose up to Mahonia. Landscape & Garden Uses Growing to around 3 to 4 feet tall and equally as wide, Funky Flow Mahonia is ideal for use as a specimen in small garden spaces and containers or in groupings or as a natural hedge in shady landscape borders, home foundation plantings and woodland settings.
