The floricane bloom ripens in June followed by new canes (primocanes) that begin fruiting early to mid-August continuing to frost. An excellent thornless variety for easy-picking with no blood drawn. Also excellent for farmers markets and shipping. In these soils it'll be worth your time to mix in lots of organic compost to condition the soil and add beneficial nutrients and bacteria plants need to grow healthy.
